Jewelry Care

Silver

  • Keep your silver jewelry away from harsh chemicals and store it in a soft pouch or jewelry box.
  • To prevent tarnish, avoid exposing your silver jewelry to air and moisture for extended periods of time.
  • Clean your silver jewelry regularly with a silver polishing cloth or a mixture of baking soda and water to gently remove tarnish.
  • Rinse the jewelry with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
  • For heavily tarnished silver jewelry, you can also use a silver cleaner or take it to a professional jeweler for cleaning.

Gold-filled

  • Keep your gold filled jewelry away from harsh chemicals, such as chlorine and bleach, as they can damage or discolor the metal.
  • Store your gold jewelry in a jewelry box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches or damage from other objects.
  • Clean your gold jewelry regularly with a mixture of warm water and mild dish soap, using a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub away dirt and debris.
  • Rinse the jewelry with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
  • For stubborn stains or tarnish, you can also use a jewelry cleaner specifically designed for gold.

Info on metals

Gold filled is made by heat and pressure bonding a thin layer of sterling silver or 14/12 k gold to a brass core. Karat gold covers the surface making it resistant to tarnish. Gold filled is of better value due to the actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film put on. It is also more affordable to those who want the look of gold without paying full karat price.

My Rose Gold filled rings and exception of a few other pieces, are soldered with 10 k Gold solder. There may be a few lighter spots at the joins where it will look GOLD. Your rose gold is NOT rubbing off or chipping. This is the beauty of having handmade jewelry!

NOTE: Rose gold solder is not used because it contains hazardous chemicals harmful to the body.

STERLING SILVER will tarnish over time. See care instructions in your packaging to keep you jewelry beautiful. PLEASE be sure to know if you are allergic to any METALS before purchasing.

Common skin issues may include a greenish/blackish color on the skin and is harmless. This may happen when your body chemistry and your skins oils react to lotions, chemicals, or even hormone production. (Weird I know!) Gold filled, Rose gold filled, Sterling Silver, and even 14 K gold may have a chance due to the amount of copper in the metal. Continued polishing will help as well.

PROCESS

Each piece is either hand soldered and /or formed, and then tumbled for durability.

Tumbling polishes, clears away any debris/oxidation and hardens the metal.

Keep in mind that there will be slight variations such as letter depth, and alignment and no two will be exactly the same. These variations are not flaws, but the natural charm of being hand forged precious metal. I always do my very best to ensure that the product is completely up to par before sending anything
